Ashley Evans takes home cross-country conference championship

Ashley Evans of Marietta, N.Y., and the rest of the Paul Smith's College Striders beat out five other teams to win the Yankee Small College Conference title under snowy conditions in Lake Placid, N.Y.

Evans is a junior majoring in fisheries and wildlife sciences at Paul Smith's.
