Improvements Planned for the VIC this Fall
Paul Smith's College Visitor Interpretive Center (the VIC)
Paul Smiths, NY (09/02/2024) — The Paul Smith's College Visitor Interpretive Center (the VIC) is working on upgrades and improvements to our lodge and trails to provide a more enjoyable experience for our students and members of the community.
Several trail projects are underway to prepare for a fantastic 2024-2025 winter season. Additionally, the VIC is installing new interpretive trail signs developed in partnership with Saranac Lake-based Darwin Design.
Several other upgrades are underway inside the VIC's Frank M. Hutchins Lodge.
Please note that as we work on making improvements to the VIC, the new building hours will be Wednesday-Sunday, 9:00am-5:00pm, beginning September 9, 2024.
Trails will be open every day, dawn to dusk, as will the outdoor bathrooms. Please visit paulsmithsvic.org for updates.
