The following students are serving as watershed stewards this summer with the Adirondack Watershed Institute, a Paul Smith's College-led initiative to keep lakes, ponds and other waterways free of invasive species:

Tyler Dezago is the proud recipient of the first ever Rick Morse Award, named for a longtime environmental advocate who died last year.

The Osgood Pond semester allows students to re-examine society's materialistic tendencies and foster a deeper awareness of their lifestyle and consumption choices, while learning through communal living, team building and outdoor recreation.

Paul Smith's College senior Rebecca Raffan was named Outstanding Student Employee by the Northern New York Library Network for the spring 2015 semester.

Three Paul Smith's College students traveled to the state capitol in Albany on Feb. 11 to advocate for support of student financial aid programs, joining hundreds of college and high school students, faculty and staff from more than 45 institutions across New York State.
